Here's a collection that, if you love the Hammond B3, you won't want to be without. This is 100% genuine Hammond B3 playing. Not a modern digital B3, not a clone, but a real vintage tonewheel B3! We recorded the nstrument via two different processes to bring you the magnificent B3 sound at its best. For some selections, we recorded via two high quality AKG condenser microphones strategically placed in what is known as a mid-side-side configuration from a Leslie speaker, and then we recorded other selections directly from the B3 console preamplifier into a typical studio sound system. The three CDs of this collection feature two of the NSHOS professional artists, Eric Larson and Jim Gregory. And these guys do not rely on other musicians backing them up with other instruments They play legitimately, they play their own bass lines on the Hammond's pedals, they play in every single key without relying on transposers, and likewise their amazing bass lines and fast fingerings are genuine, and they pay strict attention to the subtle nuances of the music, so you will really be in for a musical treat!
